NYC: Coney Island und Central Park

Coney Island

Coney Island

Actually, we wanted to take a Manhattan tour by ship today. But when we arrived at the pier of the Circle Line company, the morning boat had already departed. So we decided to go to Coney Island. The peninsula is the southernmost tip of Brooklyn and is located directly on the Atlantic coast. On the beach there is a small amusement park with a roller coaster, among other things. We could not enter the park because it will not reopen until the end of April. But everything looks a bit old, so I probably wouldn't have gone on a ride anyway.

Central Park

After a bit of sun on the beach and lunch, we set off again on the 30-minute subway ride to Manhattan. Our plan was to visit a few more attractions of the New York Pass, e.g. the Central Park Zoo. Unfortunately, the zoo was taken out of the program after we bought the pass. So we decided to cross the huge Central Park.

Metropolitan Museum of Art

In the late afternoon we visited the Egypt exhibition in the Metropolitan Museum of Art. Very informative!

Afterwards we drove to Time Square to finally take some pictures in the dark. But there is an extra Post.
