Kuala Lumpur – Jamek Mosque and Merdeka Square

On our last day in Kuala Lumpur, we first visited the Friday Mosque and Merdeka Square. This is located in the west of the city and is a symbol of independent Malaysia. From the large open green area at Merdeka Square we had a great view of Kuala Lumpur's surrounding sights, such as the TV Tower or the Petronas Twin Towers in the distance.
