Breakfast today was a bit poor. Having breakfast in the reception is just not the real thing. So we made our way relatively early along Highway No. 1 to the Guadalupe-Nipomo Dunes. On this part of the route, from Morro Bay to Simi Valley, the journey no longer took us directly along the Pacific, but a bit inland. The hinterland here is largely used for agriculture. We saw full strawberry fields, in October, and avocado fields, so we think it was avocados.
The night ended early again. Yes, yes, the time change. At 9:00 a.m. we checked out and made the 2-minute walk to the bus stop of the Quickcoach from Vancouver to Seattle.
Our night ended early, the jet lag had caught us a bit. The first thing to do was to turn on the TV and see what the day in Vancouver is supposed to bring in terms of the weather... hmmm... rain. Oh, it won't be that bad. A quick bite to eat and then it was off to the lobby to rent bikes and then explore the sights of Vancouver in the rain.
