At last it was time! The time had come to move into our suite in the Hotel Tower Club at Lebua. You can find out how we liked this luxury hotel in the heart of Bangkok in the review.
Arrival and check-in
Finally the time had come – our stay at the Tower Club at lebua Bangkok was imminent! Shortly after our arrival, we felt the luxurious service of this five-star hotel. The concierge looked a bit incredulous as we walked up the driveway with our backpacks – most guests probably arrive by taxi or the hotel's own limousine. Nevertheless, he greeted us with a friendly smile and took our luggage directly.

After our registration at the reception and the obligatory credit card deposit, we were asked to take a seat in the stylish lobby. In the comfortable armchairs, we were able to enjoy the first impression of the elegant ambience while an employee took care of the formalities. Just a few minutes later, we were greeted again by name and invited by the employee to take a look at our suite in person.
Another highlight was the exclusive access to the upper floors: only hotel guests can activate the elevators by room card. So we drove to the 58th floor in style, excited to see what would await us in our suite.
Where is the Tower Club at lebua located?
The Tower Club at lebua Bangkok is located in a prime location in the heart of the Thai metropolis. Located in the State Tower, one of Bangkok's most striking skyscrapers, the hotel offers breathtaking views of the Chao Phraya River and the city skyline. Due to its central location in the Bang Rak district, many sights, exclusive restaurants and shopping facilities are within easy reach. Saphan Taksin BTS station is within walking distance, so public transportation is also a convenient way to explore the city. The proximity to the river is also particularly practical: With the Chao Phraya Express boats, some of Bangkok's most famous temples and sights can be reached quickly and relaxed.
What are the rooms (Tower Club Suite) like in Tower Club at lebua?
Our Tower Club Suite at the Tower Club at lebua offered 66 square meters of space not only a lot of space, but also an impressive view of the Chao Phraya River. Especially the private balcony was a highlight, because from here we could watch the skyline of Bangkok and the hustle and bustle on the river. As soon as we entered the suite, we immediately felt at home. Directly in the entrance area was a tastefully furnished living area with two comfortable sitting areas and a table each. Here we could relax, enjoy room service or just let our gaze wander over the city.

Attached to the living area was a small kitchenette equipped with a Nespresso machine, a hotplate and a refrigerator. A special amenity was the minibar, which was replenished daily with free soft drinks such as cola, Sprite, Ice Tea and Green Tea. Especially after a long day in the city, it was pleasant to be able to serve yourself easily without having to think about additional costs.
A double-sided sliding door led to the spacious bathroom with shower and bathtub. High-quality toiletries and fluffy towels made the bathing experience perfect. We were particularly positively surprised by the sleeping area with two extremely comfortable beds, which were by far the best on our entire trip. After an eventful day in Bangkok, it was pure luxury to fall into these soft beds and sleep soundly. The equipment also included an LCD TV with video-on-demand in case we wanted some entertainment in the evening. The combination of thoughtful design, exclusive amenities and breathtaking views over the city made the Tower Club Suite a very special experience.

Tower Club at lebua – Tower Club Suite
From our 66 square meter Tower Club Suite, we had a great view of the Chao Phraya River from our private balcony. Right in the entrance area was a kind of living room with two sitting areas and a table each.
This was followed by a kitchenette with a Nespresso machine, hot plate and a fridge. This was filled with free soft drinks (Coke, Sprite, Ice Tea and Green Tea) and we could have the stock replenished at any time by housekeeping. Behind a double-sided sliding door was a large bathroom with a shower and a bathtub.
In the sleeping area there were two very comfortable beds, most likely the best on our whole trip, and an LCD TV (incl. video on demand).

Tower Club at lebua – Club Lounge
By booking a suite at the Tower Club, we also bought access to the exclusive Tower Club Lounge on the 52nd floor. Here we were able to get all-round care from 12 to 18 o'clock. We had the choice between alcoholic and also non-alcoholic drinks, canapés and other snacks. So every afternoon after a strenuous sightseeing tour through Bangkok we went to the lounge and ended the evening with a glass of 2009 Chardonnay or 12-year-old Chivas Regal.
Tower Club at lebua – Breakfast
Breakfast was served at the Muzo restaurant from 6 to 11 am. After arriving by elevator, we were escorted every morning to a free table, where we were served coffee, tea or juices. Again, the number of waiters and cooks is enormous by European standards. For example, the toast slices can be browned in a wood-fired oven if desired. Since I personally couldn't see any croissants with jam after more than 40 hotel nights in a row, I was very happy about the variety of the buffet. So I started the day with all kinds of different sushi, eggs Benedict or shrimp with Chinese noodles. Mhmmmm yummy!
Tower Club at lebua – Skybar
Another highlight of the lebua are the two open-air bars Breeze and Skybar. The Breeze is located on the 52nd floor and was the setting for the movie "Hangover 2", among other things. The Skybar is one of the highest bars in the world. From the 63rd floor, you have a breathtaking view of the Bangkok skyline.
This exclusivity is probably also due to the high prices (cocktails from 12 euros). Since we as hotel guests had vouchers for two free drinks, unfortunately only for the bar Breeze, we treated ourselves to them on the last evening. Bodo ordered a mojito and I tried a hangovertini. This was created especially for the actors and crew of "Hangover 2" and contains, among other things, Green Tea liqueur, Martini Rosso, green apple juice and a sprig of rosemary.

Summary
The luxury of a 5-star hotel and the infinite friendliness of the Thais have made the lebua a very good product. It is the many little things, such as the additional room service in the evening, where a card with the weather forecast is placed on the bed, among other things, that make the stay unforgettable for us.
