Evening in Budapest

After arriving in the city center, we crossed the Danube via the Széchenyi Chain Bridge. This bridge, completed in 1849, connects Roosevelt Square (Roosevelt tér), which forms the end of Pest city centre, with Adam Clark Square (Clark Ádám tér) in front of Buda Castle Hill.

Hungarian Parliament

Along the promenade we had a great view of the Hungarian Parliament, which is located directly on the banks of the Danube. After the sun had set, the public buildings were illuminated. Very beautiful motifs were created.
