During our stay in Malaysia, we really wanted to see more than just Kuala Lumpur. As we had already been to the Malaysian island of Langkawi a few years ago, this time we opted for the island of Penang. Fortunately, there is also a Hilton Group hotel on the holiday island and so we spent three nights at the DoubleTree Resort by Hilton Penang.

For our first vacation since the pandemic began, we decided to travel by car. We felt that the situation was just too unsafe for air travel. The decision to go to southern Poland was made very quickly, partly because of the low incidence values. This is only 10 minutes by car from the city center and was therefore perfect for our city trip. We were also interested in the hotel as it was designed by the famous architect Renzo Piano in the former Fiat factory.
