Some may think I'm crazy to spend an afternoon during vacation in Greece with four flights. Sure, for the majority there is no point in flying to the island of Chios for just 25 minutes. However, I need this Mileage Run with Aegean Airlines to extend my Star Alliance Gold frequent flyer status for another year.
In wenigen Jahren wird die Fokker 100 bei Austrian Airlines Geschichte sein. Sie wird nach und nach durch die Embraer 195 ersetzt. Umso mehr freue ich mich auf meinen Flug in der Austrian Airlines Economy Class in der Fokker 100 von Wien nach Warschau, um noch einmal diesen "Klassiker" zu erleben.
Aesthetically, I think the McDonell Douglas MD-82 is a beautiful aircraft. Unfortunately, it is no longer up to date and will probably disappear from the scene soon. American Airlines alone is reducing its fleet by one aircraft per week and replacing it with either Boeing or Airbus.
