After arriving on Singapore Airlines from Kuala Lumpur, we made our way from Terminal 2 to Terminal 3. On July 22, 2016 at 6:10 a.m., the Singapore Airlines Airbus A350-900 landed in the North Rhine-Westphalia state capital for the first time and was traditionally greeted with a water fountain. From now on, the renowned five-star airline will connect Düsseldorf Airport non-stop three times a week with its hub in Singapore. I was very lucky to be on the inaugural Singapore Airlines Business Class flight on the Airbus A350-900 from Düsseldorf.

After checking out at the DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel Kuala Lumpur, we took the LRT and KLIA Express to the international airport. The journey took an hour in total, with a short wait at KL Sentral. We flew to Singapore with an airline that was new to me - Jetstar Asia Economy Class.
The hotel's own shuttle bus took us from the Grand Mercure Roxy to Terminal 1 of the Singapore Changi International Airport without any traffic jams or delays. From there we took an AirAsia Economy Class Airbus A320-200 to Langkawi.
The plan was for us to land in Zurich at 4:30 p.m. from Berlin. Because of the strong hurricane Niklas, we only arrived three hours later. From Gate A81 we walked to the SWISS Senator Lounge before taking the SWISS Economy Class Airbus A340-300 to Singapore.
